What Surprise Mahlaha RantsatsI doesn't like about Route N8 Luca Coffee Café:
The atmosphere was fantastic, but the food didn't match the menu. I received 2 eggs instead of the promised 4, and the ciabatta toast was replaced with regular Albany bread. In terms of service, I had to get up and ring the bell for assistance. However, I can't blame the owners for this, as there was a sign indicating that the service might not be at the usual standard. Slow service. Ok food. Lovely red cappuccino. Smoking allowed which can be off putting especially if you are with little ones.
I went for lunch on my way from Lesotho to Bloemfontein. This restaurant was a nice surprise! I had pork belly with salad and everything was well prepared. Owner was super friendly and making sure we had good service. Restaurant does not have license to serve alcoholic drinks in case you want a beer or wine.
Stopped in for lunch and I had butter chicken. One of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m fussy). My hubby had the pork which was nice with an awesome deconstructed salad. Good portions and well priced. Def would recommend
Comfortable seating and good vibes. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Oh and the coffee was good!
