I've never encountered a DJ who insists on receiving tips for allowing participation. While I understand the importance of tipping staff, this felt excessive. The DJ explicitly told participants that they needed to satisfy him with tips to join in. If you're looking for karaoke, I suggest checking out the nearby venue, as it has a vibrant atmosphere. However, the vibe here was overshadowed by the DJ's demanding attitude, which ultimately killed the mood.
