I was in town for work and stopped for lunch at this restaurant. The server recommended the brisket Reuben with fries, and it was excellent. The fries were hot and fresh from the fryer. The service was fast and friendly, and I was in and out in under 25 minutes, which was perfect for a work day. The place is clean and welcoming. What User doesn't like about Huckleberry Cafe:
With my husband for lunch. The waitress sat at our table and never came back until I went to the counter and asked if someone would wait for us. She looked stupid and asked who set us. I said you did it. It wasn't so busy that it wasn't like we were lost in the crowd. I asked for roared firefish and she said they didn't cook fish. I know the locals rave over this place, but I know I won't be back View all feedback.
What a great place we had prime rib, mashed (real) potatoes, veggies and cornbread, dessert was HOMEMADE huckleberry pie, second night was smoked (on premises) fall off the bone ribs and fish platter, wonderful and ALL desserts are actually homemade. All staff very friendly and treated us well will be back if in the area
Really nice place good place to have breakfast lunch or dinner I recommend highly

If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely try some brisket on its own. It seems like a family-friendly place, so I would come back with my kids and family if we are ever in town. The atmosphere is typical for a small town diner, but the food definitely exceeded my expectations.
I had to stop after a long trip, I had a chance on a mother and pop cafe from the autobahn. the service was excellent as the food was. I had the crooked.
My mother-in-law was made of pulaski and loved sandy creek so it was just fitting that we had a family breakfast here in their memory. I couldn't come.
