My husband and I have eaten here numerous times and we always have the Calamari salad.....lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, peppers, and LOTS of deep fried calamari piled on top......it's soooo good! It comes with a yummy toasted garlic baguette as well. Tonight I ate here with my two sisters and they both had a steak, stuffed baked potato and vegetable. They both said it was delicious. I visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a great experience. However, during my recent visit, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the lunch special steak sandwich and it was incredibly tough. I had to cut it into small pieces and still struggled to chew it. Local find that offers a unique menu at reasonable prices. Portions are more then filling (including desserts). However, restaurant decor leaves a lot to be desired. Dining room could use a serious reno. That being said, the food more then makes up for this. Staff were attentive and timely. Food arrived quickly and as ordered.
Enjoyed a reasonably priced steak sandwich with homemade avgolemono soup (had fresh herbs in it). Good service and value. Steak was fairly good quality and properly cooked. Greek salad had a nice light dressing. Larger pieces of feta and more olives would be nice, but at this price point not really to be expected.
I had seen advertising for The Station Restaurant which led me to believe it was worth the drive to check it out. Very disappointing , food was out of the bag from the grocery store. No culinary skills involved what so ever and the food was not good. Asked the waitress if that was the cook stroking a young boys8 hair, she lied and said it was not. Later saw that same fellow cooking in the kitchen. I love little boy hair just not in my food!
The service was good and the food was decent. I will definitely return. If you're seeking comfort food in a cozy setting, especially with children, this is a great spot to try.
We really enjoy dining at this restaurant. Make sure to try the calamari and/or calamari salad.
