Sweet Capone's moved early in 2017 to a larger location and it is perfect if you feel like having a cup of java and enjoy an authentic Italian pastry. The decor is old world charm and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pastries are beyond delicious and come in many delightful varieties. If it is your first time a canolli is the way go. Make sure you buy extras in that one of these sweet treats isn't enough. View all feedback.
We went to Sweet Capone's after lunch and we were pretty full to sit down. We chose 3 Cannoli to go; Maple Walnut, Coconut Cream and I don't remember the last one. One was $4.75 before taxes. Pretty expensive but it was special occasion. It could be worth it if you spend some time hanging out with your friends there. It is in the handsome historic brick building with high ceiling which was adorned with fancy black copper design. I've only had cannoli from Italian bakery in Edmonton. They looked different from what I've had before. These Cannoli shells were soft & flaky like light pastry. The sweetened & flavoured buttercream was light and fluffy as well. It was delicate desert and we enjoyed them at home. Sweet Capone's also offer free WiFi. It's located on where historic buildings are and it was nice to read the plaques on each building along the streets..
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant when I came for lunch. The sandwiches were amazing, made with high-quality ingredients.
Delicious cream-filled apricot cookies make this a must-try establishment in the charming historic downtown of Lacombe. The exterior of the restaurant is filled with charm.
This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a delicious pastry and a hot cup of coffee! The interior has an authentic charm reminiscent of old world Italy. The restoration of the building is impressive. I absolutely adore this place!
They have captured the feel of a great coffee shop and bakery in a beautiful heritage building. Great food and coffee. Another destination to visit in Lacombe!
