Oh my goodness!! The food was incredibly delicious, and the owner Cindy and the staff, Nolan and Vanessa, were extremely friendly and welcoming.
The restaurant offers a charming ambiance and delicious home-cooked meals in the well-preserved Morrison house, which has a rich historical significance.
The soup and sandwich at this restaurant were fresh and delicious. It was a busy midweek lunch and all tables were full. The lunch menu is somewhat limited but still suitable for a midday meal.
Small menu, mainly pies and sandwiches. But what they lack in variety they more than make up in quality. Popular eatery. Good 4 stars.
Stopped in Lacombe last week with my daughter and we were looking for a good place to eat. This one caught our eye and I am really glad we stopped by. The servers were very friendly and attentive, and the homemade food is excellent - we had the cream of spinach soup with a slice of the homemade bread. A half bowl was more than enough to warm us up on this cool showery day!! Excellent! The bread was freshly made that day and melt in your mouth. The best part though was the slice of saskatoon berry pie we shared (a la mode of course!). The pastry was so flaky and the saskatoon berry filing transported me back to my childhood picking wild saskatoon berries! I would highly recommend this interesting, quaint restaurant in a historic house in Lacombe and will certainly stop again.
