Looks initially as a usual suburban deli shop. But superb Italian food

Bought their sub buns from no frills. Went mouldy before best before date. 4 out of 6 buns had to be thrown out.

Inside is a modest looking place that has bakery, espresso bar, gelato and restaurant. I really liked the cannoli, the hard shell and ricotta filling was very flavourful and stood out from others I've had in the past. The hazelnut cannoli was so good. The service was questionable, bakery counter was fine, the cashier was uncannily stoic and aloof-thinking it's innocuous and not personal so I can go back for more cannoli.

I went here a few months ago cashier maybe an owner? . Was miserable I thought, I’m not coming back, he needs some work on his customer service, I just went back to give them another chance, workers are not too bad, food is pretty good, guy at cash same guy is still as miserable! I spent $95 in 5 minutes! I don’t care how good your food is, if you’re not happy with my business, I’m Not coming back! Be grateful Mr.!!!

The bald guy at the cash is always so rude. I don’t know what his problem is. Every time I go there, he always gives me a dirty look and never says anything. No response even when I say hi or thank you. I always get the feeling that he’s being racist towards me. My family and friends have had the same experience with this guy every single time.
