Moon Congee Chinese - Lackawanna

Good food and price is moderate. Congee Queen prices have gone up significantly so it’s nice to still get good authentic food that isn’t over priced. Only complaint is sometimes dishes are not always consistent. The sesame chicken, manchurian chicken and chicken wings are very good, nicely seasoned with wings have a crunch. The salt and pepper pork chops are a little different, coated in a yellow batter but the flavours are very good and salty.

Fails on all aspects. Chilli chicken forget it. They don't know how to make it. Comes out mush. The noodles are tasty albeit plain. The egg roll way too much ginger. Not coming back.

We’ve been ordering from here so much I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it yet! We’ve eaten at least 75% of their menu and I can easily say the food is pretty authentic Chinese Cantonese HK fare and cooked well. We always ask for less salt when we order and everything then tastes like a home cooked Chinese dinner. Favourites are their dim sum, congee, noodles, beef brisket, and veggies. They even have the Canadian Bastardized fried rice, egg rolls, and chicken balls with red sauce if that’s your thing! (And sometimes it is for us too! You’ll have to travel out of Woodbridge to the east end of town to find equivalent or better Cantonese food I think.

Service was Average.Ordered congee and it was not authentic nothing compare to other one I’ve had.Not sure about other food but will never come here again very disappointed

Very decent Canto food this side of the 400 is super rare and super welcomed. Definitely come here if you're in the area and looking for Chinese food.
