What Peach doesn't like about Chatime:
They were out of brown sugar pearls, so we just got pearls. But when we got the order we noticed they didn’t give us any pearls even though we paid for it and it says on the label. We also adjusted the sugar level when ordering, but they put 100% sugar. But by the time we noticed the error, we already left. We also tried calling the store but nobody answered the phone.Make sure you check what they give you is correct... View all feedback.
My recent experience:UPDATE : Today I visited the location and to my amazement the AC was functional and working PHEW!!What a relief employees seem much happier!! And it was great walking into a comfortable atmosphere and ordered a great original milk tea with tapioca!!5 stars for the AC and 10 stars for the employees.My last experience here:Feel bad for the staff working there, storefront is HOT, HUMID, and unpleasant to just stand there and order my drink..I'd quit if I worked there to be honest surprised the employees deal with it.Turn the AC on for them and your customers.
This is my last review for chattime franchise as well as my last visit to any chattime across the world. First, can you call this drink Mango slush? The photo was taken right after we got our drink back in car (car was parked in front of the store). The cashier lady saying the drink was like that due to long waits after the drink was been made. The funny thing the drink was like that when we picking it up when the order was ready. Second, there were some ppl lined behind us when we ordered, we have been waiting there watching they were making other ppl order whom ordered after us. So the time when our order was ready there was no line no one there to getting there order expect us. Oh right at that time we were the only Chinese ethnicity customer waiting in line. Third, when we were leaving the store as we getting our order finally, a couple of employees started making sharp silly laughing mocking noise. Lol if this is not a racial profiling I couldn't come up any other reason to explain this. Had Chattime first time 15 years ago when they had ground opening in dt by uoft. Was pretty good. I don't know what is happening now. But I see it is funny when minority does racial stuff at another minority. Goodbye chattime. Anyways both me and my son felt being humiliated by this visit.

Decided to try a different chatime location from our usual place,and was disappointed by our experience and quality of the boba we had ordered. Boba was just okay, tapioca didn’t taste fresh. The service was okay, they seemed more preoccupied with conversing amongst themselves than with the customer.
I'm a huge bubble tea fan, and Chatime makes a good tea in my opinion which is why it's my preferred franchise.I actually go out of my way (driving 10k) to come to this specific location because they don't mess up my order. The quality consistency has surpassed all the other locations I've been to (tried over 15 locations across Ontario so far). Yes, they get busy. But there's a reason why. Plus, get the app and order ahead of on a time crunch.
