Bartholomew Bakery - Lackawanna

This place is dangerous. I had saved this place to try their croissant but I knew as soon as I walked in that I was gonna leave with much more than that. I ended up getting a tiramisu cheesecake, pistachio cheesecake, two loafs of multigrain sourdough bread, pistachio croissant, and some lemon raspberry thing. I would have taken pictures, but I brought it to a dinner party and everything got devoured. My favourite was the tiramisu cheesecake, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything.

If you love croissants, delicious pastries and good coffee this is the place. I think my husband and I came here religiously every Saturday for a month trying different items. I once also grabbed a late lunch and had the mortadella sandwich. I do not eat mortadella it was incredibly delicious.I am a little surprised at some of the 0 star ratings but there are crazies everywhere.This has got to be the best bakery in the city. Best croissants and best coffee! It’s no surprise that there is always a line up! Bravo to the owners and thank you for your service!

Holy ceap man. I don’t even like croissants and they were to die for.Had the almond and pistachio, not too sweet and so flaky and buttery.Tried to mortadella sandwich for fun on the focaccia was so soft and flavourful. Brushed with an olive oil and provolone and rocket packed tight I was super delighted as usually Italian dammiea fail me. Would repeat.

All types of pastries such as Pain Au Chocolate, Croissants, Cruffins, and more are incredibly delicious~
