We ordered the chicken f... read more Went to O'Frites for the first time today - we ordered the chicken fingers and a poutine. The fries were good, but the gravy was bland. We ordered the chicken fingers, they were rubbery: obviously formerly frozen with water injected. They had a weird texture and the coating was unappetizing. They didn't come with gravy or anything, so to make them more palatable we used plum sauce and sweet Thai chili sauce to add some flavour (we ate at home). Sadly, we won't be returning.

My husband has eaten here since he was a kid, same look, same fries. The place looks a little old, small, maybe scary, but it's a fry shack, just put the poutine in your mouth for a Quebec experience! The hot dogs are just steamed regular dogs nothing special, but good enough for a quick bite. I will say their menu is a little bit more extensive than a typical fry shack now a days. It's located right on Main Street so you can eat and people watch for fun.

Burgers are amazing here too, the only problem was the music blaring from the City speakers on the street, that needs to stop. But if you're nearby you won't regret stopping by this patio.
