We went during our summer holiday. And were pleasantly surprised of the decor, the amazing service, and the food. And the fries..... a must. As well as the Salmon Tartare. View all feedback.
What Meeri Niskala doesn't like about Le Bouillon Specialite Fondue:
We have dined at Bouillon for lunch multiple times and, while the atmosphere is lovely and upscale, with friendly and attentive servers, the food quality is often lacking, sometimes very lacking. The consistent issue is that every dish we have tried at Bouillon is overly salted, sometimes to the point of being inedible. We keep hoping that our next meal will be better, but unfortunately, it seems that is not the case... View all feedback.
I am a major foodie and Le Bouillon does not disappoint. Try whatever your server recommends. Scallops in (light) vanilla sauce with prosciutto CHIPS! Heavenly.
My husband and I frequently dine at this restaurant, sometimes with the whole family. We always enjoy it. While my husband likes to try different items on the menu, my daughter and I always opt for the fondue. The atmosphere is lovely and it's a great place to dine without loud music or rowdy drinkers. I highly recommend it.
It was my first time in LaChute and the Main Street has felt a small city USA. It was a total surprise for me to find such a living city. The next surprise was the restaurant Le Bouillon. Great staff, good decor, very spacious, but... feels and nothing like a big box chain restaurant. We were five people and we all had different things to eat. Nobody was good. I started with some pate and pickles with a crispy bread, the whole thing was on the point. I never had the Chinese style fondu with broth instead of cheese. It was not disappointed, perfect part of food. I had raised Bison on site and it was good with the broth and vegetables I choose. My friends had different tapas-style dishes and not only did they look good, they were. The only thing I found a little hard was to navigate the menu, but to be honest, that was the only slight negative for the whole evening. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the decor is good, the ambience is great and the food on point. Price is good, 3 tapas, two glasses of wine, three pints of beer, a starter and fondu and our bill for 2 people was $110. Great value I thought. I suggest eating here, I had a good time and was pleasantly surprised with what we stumbled over each other.
The outdoor terrace at this restaurant is beautiful. For lunch, I chose the soup and Italian sausages from the menu. They were a bit salty, but overall good, especially when paired with the Dijon sauce. The broccoli was slightly overcooked and the French fries were nothing exceptional. The Bisontare dish was delicious, but I felt it was not enough for the price. The service was friendly and accommodating. I plan on coming back to try the fondues next time.
Wednesday, everything you eat muscles for $18.00. Tuesday,2 for 1 fondue. Service is excellent. Very recommended.
