My wife and I absolutely adore this local family-owned restaurant! The menu is simple, but the biscuits and gravy are outstanding. What truly sets this place apart are the owners and their friendly service. It's definitely a must-visit! View all feedback.
I decided to try the biscuits and gravy, and I'm glad I did. The staff was very friendly, and it was fascinating to see the chef cooking through a small window in the wall—something that reminded me of a bygone era. When our food arrived, we dug right in. The biscuits and gravy were exquisite, melting in my mouth; the two eggs were perfectly cooked, and the four strips of bacon were satisfyingly crunchy. The hashbrowns had a nice crispiness on the outside while staying soft and flavorful on the inside, and I topped it off with a hot chocolate. We were both pleasantly surprised by how quiet the place was—no need to speak loudly to each other, which was a nice change. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pat's. Thank you very much! Remember to support local businesses, as they are the backbone of our community.
This is the best diner for breakfast in town! My wife adores the biscuits and gravy, while I prefer a straightforward omelet. It's a wonderful, genuine mom-and-pop place that I used to visit as a kid, and now my children go there too. It doesn’t attempt to be a trendy or modern eatery; it’s simply an amazing diner.
As a North Carolina native, I have a good understanding of biscuits and gravy, and this place serves some of the best I've ever tasted. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, and the French toast was delightfully soft—an excellent way to kick off my Saturday. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like home. We had planned to take more photos of our food, but it was so delicious that we completely forgot until we were halfway through! I will definitely be returning!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
