Capri - LACCO AMENO

I recommend caution here. I felt slightly I’ll after eating here suggesting mild cross contamination for me. Unfortunately, only some of the pastas and salads are GF as well. For what it’s worth though, the staff is knowledgeable and I think I might have just had some bad luck the day I went and was slightly exposed as could happen at any restaurant.

Overpriced but beautiful view. The reviews here say you can get gf pasta- you can only have the penne with swordfish. I had to get the tomato and rocket salad, which was nice but really expensive. Service was good.

Our tour guide recommended this place, as pretty much everywhere on Capri is a tourist trap. This had a delightful view and didn't feel too touristy. Had a really delicious GF pasta with zucchini, and the burrata was heavenly.

We talked to the manager and he then told every person I am. I had the sebring (fish) special and asked about having fun with it and it was amazing! it cost 60 euro, but the regular menu items (not on the daily special list) were in the 20 Euro series. the service was on the spot. there was cork in my wee and they brought me a new glass of wine. they knew we were American, so that they could make American music. there were many tourist here and it is covid time, so there are most Italian holiday now since the closure of the borders.
