Antares - LACCO AMENO

The restaurant is part of the Antares hotel. We book with the fork for 21 with 30% discount. They tell us to wait in the waiting room because all the tables were busy, they would have just called us a table. We wait, we see two couples pass in front of us who are accommodated despite we were already waiting. Which I'm going to ask if we could have a seat, too. Wait a minute. Finally we sit after 25 minutes of waiting. The dishes in themselves were not bad and the waiter was very kind and professional. But during the waiting of the table we witnessed an unpleasant and unprofessional scene. A family waiting for us from before was treated in a bad way with arrogant tones by a manager, who screamed behind the same you book with the fork to save. Unacceptable and embarrassing, only for the customer care I do not recommend it. I am not surprised by reading now the answers on tripadvisor of the hotel to unsatisfied customers. There is way and way.

Located on the waterfront of Cefalù, it is a beautiful and well-furnished restaurant. The staff is kind and friendly. Fast service. The menu offers a variety of dishes not indifferent. We had lunch on a holiday and were particularly impressed. My marinara spaghetti was really sublimated and the abundant portion. My partner took some delicious stuffed ravioli and our daughter a charcoal that has devoured with pleasure: . Good wine with glass, tiramisu of the house and coffee, all perfect. I had a 20% discount by booking from TripAdvisor. I highly recommend it.

I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel with my family. The staff is amazing, gentle and courteous and available to make changes to accommodate your needs. We did the half board and the food was awesome. It is a great value for the money. The rooms and the bathrooms are very clean. You have two lidos available right next to the hotel but there are also so many other lidos options within walking distance. You can either walk downtown Casamicciola or Lacco Ameno, either or the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. I will definitely consider this hotel in the future. There are little things that could be better but for what you pay you definitely are getting a great value! Thank you for this amazing stay!

It was cosy room with a beautiful view. The beds pushed together with spring mattresses. Towels+shower gels and simplest shower. A wardrobe, a table for suitcases, a mirror and even a small TV. Breakfast included and entrance through a steep staircase into dining room

I stayed in this “hotel” for 2 nights, Rooms less than basic and dusty, hotel very old, carpet in the corridor dirty looks like it was there without being cleaned for at least months. Very old mattress and no double beds, old sheets and Unprofessional staff , after complaining they offered us a bottle of Prosecco but after drinking it we had an invasion on ants coming through the balcony into our room. Staff members talking loud until 1 pm at night. No bin in the room . Over all I do not recommend this place to anyone for the money you pay until it gets refurbished properly. Very disappointing and also unwelcoming Staff.
