Poulet Frit Ideal - Lac-Mégantic

I drove to Lac-Megantic with some doctors and we always come to this restaurant for poutine. I had the special poutine and it was just as delicious as they said! The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant offers delicious food at an affordable price. The servings are generous, and the staff and owners are friendly and hospitable. I frequently enjoy their daily specials for lunch, which are excellent with a variety of options, particularly on Thursdays. However, due to the unfortunate events of the Lac Megantic disaster and the destruction of much of the city, the restaurant has relocated to 5400 Rue Papineau in Lac Megantic.

J'y suis venu quelques fois pour le dîner et, le service est rapide et courtois. On prend notre commande au comptoir qui nous est mise dans un cabaret.

I had many times the daily dish served at noon, its excellent and you have many choices especially on Thursdays.However due to the dramatic accident of Lac Megantic , and the distruction of most of the downtown,the location of the place has moved, and is now 5400 Rue papineau at Lac megantic.

As you make your way through the disorganized kitchen, you'll see the cook preparing orders on a regular stove. Continuing on, you'll pass by a grill on the deck where food is left out in the open.
