Sushi Lab - Labrador City

Upon arrival, I had to wait approximately 10 minutes to be seated. When I asked to sit down, the staff told me to wait, which was off-putting. I had initially planned to order sushi, as I had heard it was excellent, but unfortunately, the all-you-can-eat menu was not available that night. I opted for the No.3 plate instead. However, the rice had a strange taste that didn't sit well with me. The rest of the meal was decent, but overall I left feeling disappointed. Despite this, I am willing to give the sushi a try next time and will update my review after that visit.

When they first opened it was amazing. The food portion size was wonderful. Now, it’s lacking ... everything got smaller.. different tastes .. slow coming out of the kitchen .. bad sushi that isn’t fresh.. the only thing that makes this place good is the staff. Always there to help and always happy and quick on their feet. I wish restaurants never brought in Tv’s... it ruins everything .. you can’t have a night out without staring at a tv in your face .. overkill on the TVs

Great company, good food, good service We went out to celebrate my 65th Birthday some had sushi, some had chinese and some had Canadian dishes.

Went for birthday supper, individual orders as you eat, so there is no wasted food. Great atmosphere.

Me and my husband like to go to sushi lab every couple of months. We particularly enjoy the small portion all you can eat. The food is made to order and brought to the table as opposed to the traditional buffet style. Food is typically fresh and hot. Prices reasonable for the service and quality.
