You float down a beautiful river on a boat with music and buffet style lunch. The food is decent and traditional -chicken, fish, soup, curry, noodles, etc. you can buy beer and they serve sweet ice tea. There is live entertainment provided by a 3 person band and they stop to let you watch traditional dances performed my school children. Watching the locals swing from ropes playing in the lake is a good time. Photogra... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Long River Cruise Floating Resto:
I had my cruise during a steady rain. It was a nice and relaxing trip, that got underway probably within 20 minutes after I got on the boat, and I was one of the first on that boat. They seem to have a lot of boats going continually. I don't care much for Filipino food and didn't have much on the buffet that interested me. There was a stop at a makeshift floating barge where kids perform. Would I go again? No. Would... View all feedback.

Having lunch in the boat and enjoying the ride while having lunch... And yeah long river and relaxing
We had planned to do the river restaurant cruise on the Loboc River as part of our day spent travelling around Bohol on a scooter. We'd just been to Corrella to see the Tarsiers and had to pass through Loboc to get to Carmen for the Chocolate HIlls. It was only about 11.30 when we got to Loboc and we thought we'd be too early as they wouldn't start until lunchtime. However, we were happily wrong. We pulled up on our scooter and a man gave us our priority number and told us where to park and then where to go. We parked and a man offered to put our helmets in the left luggage area then directed us to the cashier who gave us a ticket with our boat and table number. We then boarded the boat and grabbed a plate and started eating, simple as that. About 10 minutes later we set off on the cruise. The scenery along the river was beautiful and as the weather was really good it was a really great experience. Sadly the food wasn't great but that didn't really matter - it was still edible. We stopped at a hut and stayed on the boat while about 20 women in 'traditional' dress played the ukelele to us. I didn't really know what it was all about but it was fun. Whole trip lasted about an hour and then we were off again. It was really well organised. When we left the boat it was starting to get busy and there were long queues forming so we had managed to time it right. If doing it yourself get there just before 12 to avoid the rush from the tour groups.
