Jimmy John's - La Vista

The door to the restaurant was locked at 7:20 PM when it seemed like the staff was in the process of cleaning up. According to their hours, this location is supposed to be open until 9 PM on Saturdays. I'm not sure why there was a discrepancy.

The food here is essentially deli meat on bread—nothing particularly thrilling about it. It's akin to making a lunch meat sandwich at home, so it's comparable to a restaurant serving peanut butter and jelly or cold cereal. At least, that's my perspective. However, it seems I might be in the minority since many people absolutely love subs. I want to clarify that I'm not against them; I just don't find cold cuts particularly exciting. That said, this location is quick and efficient, and the staff is friendly. I've had no issues with my order accuracy. To save yourself and everyone else some time, I recommend using their app to order and pay in advance, so you can just swing by and pick it up.

We've visited this Jimmy John's multiple times, but it's been a frustrating experience. It often takes up to an hour to receive our food, and they close earlier than their advertised hours. There have been instances when they just don't deliver our food at all, or they leave it at the door without notifying us. On our most recent order, they claimed they don't deliver to our street, despite the fact that they deliver to addresses just beyond it! If every Jimmy John's operated like this, they wouldn't be able to stay in business!

Even though they have tortillas for wraps, you can't make any sandwich into a wrap. They can't simply not use bread, and use it tortilla instead.

This location is the best Jimmy John's I've had in years! The staff was super friendly and kind, and my sub was delicious! I'll be back for sure.
