Stayed for 5 nights over Christmas. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff was incredible….from the front desk to the help in the breakfast area. Food was really good and well presented, but the true highlights was the staff. Will definitely be staying again. View all feedback.
What Dominique Kiehn doesn't like about Embassy Suites By Hilton Omaha La Vista Conference Center:
This particular Hilton is overpriced and outdated. The room was musty. The level of soap scum on the shower door is impressive. The pool was pretty cold for an indoor pool. The sprinkler issue caused the alarms to go off waking up my 2 year old and 3 month old late at night. I wanted to just leave and get back on the road instead of sit in a hotel and listen to alarms. The sprinkler issue caused the alarms to go off waking up my 2 year old and 3 month old late at night. I wanted to just leave and get back on the road instead of sit in a hotel and listen to alarms. Staff was unwilling to accommodate me at another property, or help in any way. “Deal with it, there are no refunds and management won’t be here until morning.” — go somewhere else. I promise, the staff would rather not be bothered with you.
We have stayed at the Embassy in LaVista for the past 8 years. Every time we stay in the area we always stay at the embassy. However, we will probably never stay there again after our last stay. We booked the room for 2 nights. It was double the price as usual but there was a concert in town so we decided to stay anyways, because we have always had a good experience. Over Covid many policies changed and it made it difficult to swim and the happy hour and breakfast were cut like many things during this time. We still stayed loyal to the embassy because this was “the new normal”. However last weekend when we stayed we were told that we could only get happy hour tickets and bottled water for the first night, even though we had booked two nights. Then Sunday when we were getting ready there was no hot water. So we called down to the desk, they told us the hot water heater was reset. Well an hour later we still had no hot water. We all took cold showers. When we checked out we told them of our situation and that we weren’t happy because we paid double per night for our rooms and we were gold members and are eye treated rudely. We will not be staying again and will choose to stay next door at the Marriott where they treat military and veterans very well and do joy over charge for a cold shower.
Was ok stop. Room nice, clean. One thing I totally did not like was shampoo, Conditioner etc bolted to wall in shower in bulk. It just did not seem right and heard others with same thoughts
Very nice hotel! There was a sprinkler issue when I checked in, but the staff was very hospitable and room was quiet. Bed was comfortable and room felt cozy and yet spacious. It has become my go-to hotel when I come here. Across the street from the hotel are some nice night life establishments, so you can unwind without driving too far. Great hotel! Negatives were the sprinkler and the slow shower drain.
If they are looking for a high-time location, they did not book with this location, they quoted us an order that we could work with and repeatedly sharpen their prices to different ways. they had a 25% service fee that was never discussed until we settled a deposit and booked with them and it was on every one. it has been added to the room rental, the potting and the bar. not only a 25% flat fee on everything they were also extremely difficult to coordinate with for months. I tried several times by e-mail and called and it took forever my meeting with them for plans and a meal tasting. on the day of my high time, there was no one who could help us build us or tell us what was going on. So we only had to fight ourselves for ourselves. we had a lot of family from the city, which also remained the whole weekend. n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n n
