Was Easter Fisher at Le Boke a mag?
Overnight stop in La Tuque and visited Le Boke after Tripadvisor recommendations. Not disappointed at all. Warm evening with both indoor and outdoor tables, occupied by locals and tourists. All the young serving ladies were very attentive and helpful. My wife enjoyed a chicken salad...and I had the meal of the day: braised beef and mash. Both were really excellent. View all feedback.
What Ladislavs Sodums dislikes about Le Boke:
The worst poke bowl I ate....3 shrimps..... grocery goberge fingers....some vegetables....the whole on a bed of rice more or less fresh... no flavor... no Asian sauce or spices....lightly this restaurant should stop offering the poke bowl because they don't know what it is! My friend took the salmon pizza... very ordinary in his opinion. The service was slow. We had to wait a good hour before we got our plates. View all feedback.
We stopped at La Tuque for lunch and happened to enjoy a great lunch at Le Boke . Very nice food all fresh and good price. Friendly staff and great service. A great experience!
This is the second time I stopped here for dinner with family since two years ago. The menu remained creative and the plates served were hot, perfectly cooked, delicious and of quality. We sat indoors which was comfortable but felt the echo and music was...too loud for a relaxing conversation and dining experience. Service was super friendly and efficient.
What a wonderful restaurant. We were passing through La Tuque on our way to Lac St Jean and stopped for lunch at this delightful outdoor terrace. Little did we know we were about to experience a truly gourmet lunch. The brie salad, the terrine salad,...the ham and cheese sandwich turned out to be so much more. Truly outstanding and way outdid our expectations. Our waitress was charming and was happy to speak English. The terrace had an overhanging tree that kept us cool on a very hot day. So pleasant that we lingered way beyond a short stop for lunch.
Very good restaurant. On friday the steak and french fries is cheap but excellent. Very good quality for the price and good service
Didn't set foot inside, so can't speak for the inside, but enjoyed the sunny patio street-side on the main. A bit spartan in terms of decor, but clean and functional, Had an excellent lunch and very friendly service. Had the Mechoui (Quebec's version of BBQ)...and a wrap, both terrific. Will go back when we're in the neighbourhood. Great value for the price.
