This restaurant is attached to a campsite, however only accessible from the outside. As a life long camper I am always sceptical regarding campsite restaurants. In this case, totally unfounded. The owner Joe and Michael and staff were amazing. Joe runs the front of house...and the bar, while Michael runs the kitchen. As we went several times, tasted a lot of the menu. The usual pizzas, burgers and moules, all of whic... View all feedback.
What Stéphane Gilles doesn't like about La Paillote:
We haven't eaten here, but I think it has to say about the bad service. My 70-year-old mother-in-law was just blown out of the rooms when she went behind the barrier to book a table. The man was so rude....Shouting in French (in which my mother is fluent in law). She was so shaken that he let her cry. View all feedback.
Good choice in the menu. My youngest enjoyed the children's menu with homemade nuggets. All enjoyed and we would return.

Great meal with some very good humble and welcoming staff. Manager extremely friendly and chatting to us. We have often eaten here and will return. Un grand merci.
Having been here repeatedly 2 years ago a bit on continuity was reassuring. Great pizzas and available in kids sizes which really are suitable for up to young teen. Childrens moule portions too. Keep an eye on the specials board for more interesting meals. Fish...and chips has good mushy peas and the burger is a proper meal. I ate it all with a knife and fork. (I'm not the queen! . Happy hour at the bar can make the restaurant look over busy, persevere its quieter than the streetside restaurants in the middle of tranche and alot closer to camping bel and baie d'aunis.
Nice and simple food here good service and friendly. it is a tourist trap but your on holiday and it ticks all the boxes.
