The only reason you would want to eat at this place is if you are staying at the (very good Hotel Nella next door. So we did, encouraged by some decent reviews. We had a risotto with apple and cheese and a pasta with lemon pesto and prawns, which were totally inedible, swimming in grease. We were actually staying at the hotel so for us it made sense to eat here rather then travel into La Spezia. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent and mixed grill was. lest say, for the hungry/
We were surprised by the quality of the food. Very good and huge oven baked pizza's, meat dish was perfect and also the pasta was very tasty (local home made pasta with cream sauce, lemon and scampi). We went to several other places in the area, but this was the best food and price!
The terrace was very good especially with the hot wheather. Food was nothing special (risotto and the ravioli), far from the best we had in the region. Would not return unless to go for some drinks in the terrace
We've been to several restaurants the last week and this is as Italy used to be: super friendly and super food for top Euro! If there were 6 stars to win, they would get them! We had primi's and secundi's with seafood: delicious! All tables we gone but they placed one from inside outdoor on the terrace. Busy but nice and quiet. We highly recommend this resto!
