The food at this restaurant is delicious, the prices are affordable, and the seating on the terrace is a nice touch. The owner serves the dishes personally. We tried The Escalera paella and the bacon pasta, both of which were very flavorful. The coconut pineapple juice was exceptional! Just remember to specify if you want sugar added to your drink, as it will be served sweetened by default.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly!
With my wife in the restaurant. We're both in the fifties. The restaurant opens for lunch only and is close to a number of hostels (we recommend Hostal El Punto, by the way). An Escalera (street leads to the main door of the restaurant that sits in an old house. It looks small from outside, but this is deceptive, there is plenty of space inside. A large fireplace keeps the main dining room warm in winter. The food is exceptionally good. I tried the Mar y Tierra fetuccini and my wife had the carrots tortilla with potatoes and soup. She liked it very much, especially as the potatoes were made. She even learned a good trick from the owner Juan (pronounced Who-an, NOT Goo-an!) how to cook them right. We will return. Prices are fair, ambience too. The food is delicious! Very recommended.
Great place! Lovely people! Nice lunch menu! All the best from Germany!
