Jake's Pourhouse - La Salle

This restaurant has some of the best burgers in town! The blue cheeseburger is amazing. I also enjoyed the adult sodas during my last visit.

This is a lovely restaurant with a lively atmosphere. It can get quite loud, so if you prefer a quieter dining experience, it may not be the best choice. It's a great spot to meet up with friends and enjoy some food. The pretzel was delicious, however, the bloody Mary was not up to par - it lacked flavor and didn't seem like much effort was put into making it tasty. I tried their Sunday bloody Mary specials and they were excellent, but the casual Saturday ones were disappointing. The bartender often has to handle multiple tasks, such as serving at the bar, waiting on tables, and bringing out food, so they can get busy. However, they are always friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is perfect for watching Blackhawks games!

The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is underrated. The bar is a great spot for Chicago sports fans. From the broken mushrooms to the fried chicken wings, chicken strips, and a wide variety of burgers, everything was excellent. Highly recommended.

Great place, gets busy quick so you know it's got good food.

No I normally don't write a review for a pub. But I came here because I was told they had pretty good food. When I went inside the place was small. The bartender was very attentive, and very polite. They had plenty of TVs for the size of their building. The drinks are made well and they're priced competitively. But but I have to tell you about the food. I only tried to menu items the first what's called The Garlic G-spot. It was a really good garlic poor boy sandwich. The second was a simple Italian beef sandwich, now when I looked at this, it was made in a way that I have never seen before and let me tell you it works far better than any other way I've ever had an Italian beef sandwich. But as cool as that is...it's the taste of it. It was hands down better than any Italian beef sandwich that I've ever had in my life. It was so good in fact that I couldn't even put it down to stop eating it, to get my phone out and take a picture of it. I'm not recommending the food, I'm telling you that you absolutely have to try this Italian beef. Once you've had it, you will go back for more. Now I don't know about the rest of the food yet but after my experience with that sandwich I have to try other food there. if the rest of their menu is as good as that sandwich then this place is sitting on a gold mine just waiting to be discovered. Honestly though, if you dont try it then your missing out on an amazing experience.
