We stopped here for lunch on a hot day. The food was quite reasonable and generous in portion. Wine and beer available. Staff spoke English. Closed in area not great when people are smoking. View all feedback.
What Hans-Joachim Unger doesn't like about Le Patio:
Nice spot. Very busy and service was a bit slow. My friends enjoyed their salad and a burger. Good chips but my mushroom omlette was disappointing. Pretty tasteless and slightly under cooked for my liking. I enjoyed watching the swallows swoop down to their nest on top if a light on the wall though. We went to a shop near by for ice creams which were lovely. View all feedback.
In a beautiful village of la roque gageac at the far from dordogne on the lower main road we thought to give this restaurant a walk, as this is a bit a tourist refugee town that we thought it would be ok eating. Going on step stairs they come into a covered area with light protection in front of the sun and suspect rain the inner was very stone. we chose an Italian salat and bruschetta. When the food arrived, we thought it was nice, as he first secured the ladies. the eating was absolutely beautiful, with out sounding over the top and wrong it was our best Italian salat and the bruschetta, which was so warm and soft with strength and topping different sink and cheese. it was a good value for the price we paid. we would return to that place if it wasn't a visit. I urinate a place on his toilets and they were also clean. friendly staff do not rush us for decisions. it was very busy, but in a nice wise
Popped in for something quick.....the staff were fabulous, so friendly, helpful and nice. Decided a cheeseburger....WELL IT WAS DELICIOUS .. served with chips and mayonnaise (which I don't eat, but did this time) it was homemade.... Next had a tiramisu, smooth and moist at the...bottom although not strongly flavoured with coffee, it was DELICIOUS.. The place itself is under the rockface and has a lovely comfortable feel to it...I will come back again...
VISITED: JULY 2019 SERVICE: Very Good FOOD: Very Good ATMOSPHERE: Very Good There is not a view of the Dordogne River but the courtyard is very nice!
Service good and staff very attentive. Good selection of food for a small restaurant and well presented. Overall a very pleasant lunch.
We enjoyed a very good meal on the pleasant small terrace of this restaurant. My husband had the coq au vin and I had the pike perch with trimmings. Both were very good. Service was also very friendly. The bill - with half a litre of good wine and coffee - 40 euros!!
