The staff is friendly, the setting is original, the meals are good, but lack of organisation

It is not a traditional restaurant but it is eaten well and for cheap (14,50 € E/P/D) and thus helps to make people who need it to join in society. ethical shop inside offering jams, liqueur, gift idea for very reasonable prices and there also for the benefit of the small community that cultivates the garden at the origin of the fruits used for the products sold.

After a very interesting visit to the castle, we stop in this small restaurant high street (walk a little you will fall on the panels), spotted before on tripadvisor. I put 5/5 for the value-for-price ratio. menu at 14,50 € with 3 choice of entry, 2 choice of dish and 3 choice of dessert. Very warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere, we are very comfortable in this little restaurant. family kitchen and original frame. The dishes are cooked according to local races made by the manager (or the harvest of fruit trees of the orchard). The crêpe with raspberry and mystery ingredient (I don't want to disclose surprise!) has much rain!concept of social reintegration explained to the reception by the very interesting manager, and which also creates a certain intimacy and warmth in this place. Good atmosphere in the kitchen (we hear them laughing) !bravo ! continue this way !

Nice place for a drink and a snack. Can not comment on the lunch menu or the food served because they had run out of food just before we got there (a large group of people had just left). We met a super nice waiter...More

This was a midday surprise! Tucked away (but with good signage) in the village near Rochepot Chateau, this restaurant is staffed by immigrants from many war-torn nations. As the hostess said, they appear fine, but many are broken inside. Our waiter was a former Afghan translator for the US military, so naturally his English was very good; he was happy to use it again. it was easy to chat between courses. The 3-course menu (only Euros 13) was plentiful and tasty. Our large salad was so filling, we wondered where we would fit two more courses -- somehow we managed! The dining space is filled with colorful artwork by local artists; the tables and chairs are brightly painted and include whimsical depictions of a set table. Open Tuesday-Fridays.
