We’ve had some superb fish and seafood meals in La Rochelle but today we wanted something light for a change. Le Rupella fitted the bill perfectly! A pastis and a champagne while we perused the menu tempted to have dish of the day but opted for a four cheese pizza with delicious side salad and for my husband a rare steak with, of course, frites and salad. What Joanna doesn't like about Le Rupella:
I only tested the restaurant at lunchtime: my opinion does not concern the hotel and its rooms. The location is very nice, lunch on the terrace is very pleasant. However, although the first server had welcomed us was kind, the second one who took care of us was quite the opposite. I don't need to be hung up with his clients. We stayed there for four nights, the welcome arrived quite cold, but the other gentleman very pleasant. small but very clean, bath soap a little too small. Very well located. Fresh breakfast, but very fair. but beautiful stay
I really like this place on the old port. with its pizza gossip areas is a well thick red wine and fried and yellow hamburger. I love it. thanks also for the helpful and attentive service
