Nothing fancy, just good seafood served quickly. We had three servings of oysters and razor clams. Low price, came out quickly, tasted great. They also had good prices on bottles of wine. It was fast food efficiency, but better quality food. Enjoy your food and wine while watching the ferry boats come and go. Friendly staff too. View all feedback.
What Pasquale McGlynn doesn't like about Le P'tit Bleu:
Moules sans frites! Calamars non vidés! Accueil des plus déplorable... On vous parle mal de La commande au service, les tables sont tellement accolées qu'il n'y a pas d'espace entre... les portions si petites que nous avons continué notre repas en face! Bref attrape touristes de la pire espèce! Heureusement pour eux que nous avions payé avant de consommer sinon nous serions partis! View all feedback.
This is not a fancy restaurant... but it serves the most delicious grilled seafood ANYWHERE! I had the Calamars and also the Gambas. Both amazing. I sat right at the water's edge. Quite delightful. And the staff were very sweet too. Thank you.

Friendly staff speaking English, easy to understand menu, choice of seafood, and wine to go with it. Served up promptly, with the tiniest toilet on hand.... Quite a find compared to all the other more expensive places. 55 euro for 4 dishes of food and drinks, and super quality
Le P'tit Bleu is so charming. See your fresh choice of sea food grilled just in front of your eyes on this little blue boat. We had gambas and they were delicious. Our host made us taste some of their fresh oysters, with a little basalmic sauce. Compliment of the house. And we really enjoyed the scenery and the atmosphere of the little port of LaRochelle. Really the best culinary experience we had in France.
Perched on the side of the harbor this little fish diner serves a limited but tasty variety of fish. Never been before due to long queues but this visit it was quiet at lunch so we tried it. Great fried squid and sardines. Decent price too. Great fun if the weathers good. I recommend this place .
