What User doesn't like about La Fontanella:
we atetndu more minutes at the restaurant's terrace, it was not yet any guest on the terrace or in the restaurant. Nobody ever came to see if there was anyone. So we got up and went to eat elsewhere in the street and there we were well received and we tasted a very good cuisine. View all feedback.
The boss of the furnace is often a quality gage. There you go! small three-service menus at very attractive prices reassure you right away. These menus are simple but very well developed (fish, meat, home dessert.) for us, an entry based on real scampis, in very reasonable quantity and a beautiful piece of beef to follow. To finish, a good homemade chocolate mousse. for about 20 euros. it is perfectly justified and, even, above the average of the city. note, a bowl of generous fries and some homemade vegetables to add meat. Finally, what is increasingly rare, the boss comes out his bottle of digestive (al apology for the little one) to offer us a small coffee shoot. barely over 100 euros to four and some attractive and commercial restaurant owners! an address to advise the rochois and tourists who pass.
We reached us for more than 10 minutes at the restaurant terrace, it was not yet 13h. No guests on the terrace or in the restaurant. No one came to see if there was anyone. we got up and went to eat elsewhere in the street and we were well received and we tasted a very good cuisine.
If I go to my home in maboge 6km of that, I often make a stop in this restaurant. Lots of choice and plenty of people don't go hungry. Friendly people do their best for a good service.
The owner of the restaurant is a reliable indicator of quality. The small three-course menus offered at very reasonable prices immediately put you at ease. The menus are simple yet well-executed, with options like fish, meat, and homemade dessert. We enjoyed a generous portion of shrimp for our starter, followed by a beautiful piece of beef. To finish, a delicious homemade chocolate mousse, all for around 20 euros. The addition of a bowl of generous fries and some homemade vegetables with the meat was a nice touch. The owner even brought out a bottle of digestif (albeit a small one) to accompany our coffee, a rare and thoughtful gesture. For just over 100 euros, you and a companion can enjoy a satisfying and delightful dining experience. Highly recommend this spot to locals and tourists passing through.
The cuisine is excellent and very refined, but a bit on the pricey side. The ambiance could use some improvement.
