Sawa Sushi - La Quinta

I tried the dragon roll and found it to be quite good. However, I was disappointed with the spicy tuna because it lacked spice and flavor. The Mexican roll was decent, but overall, I felt that everything was overpriced considering the portion sizes. The service was just okay. I'm not sure if I'd come back.

They consistently deliver excellent service every time I visit! The menu is straightforward and features classic dishes. Unlike other places, they don't overload the rice or skimp on the sushi. Although it's a cozy space, I'm always attended to promptly. In my opinion, it's the best quality sushi for your money in the Coachella Valley.

The food was tasty, but the service left much to be desired. We had to request our drinks three times, and when they finally arrived, we only received water instead of what we had ordered. To make matters worse, the bill included the drinks we never got. At one point, our server mistakenly brought us a dish intended for another table, then promptly took it back after a few minutes. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, but the server seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I love this little restaurant. Consistently good food, great service and an authentic menu that always makes you want to come back for more. Sushi is perfectly rolled. Never too much rice and the special rolls are amazing. Varied menu that is always fresh. Love the cucumber salad!

Great sushi and service Reasonably priced (for sushi). The ambiance is not great, but clean and reasonable.
