We were staying near old PV so it was good to see what other parts of PV look like. It's a good 20 to 30 min ride to get there from old PV. Taxi drivers seemed to be reluctant to take us. Apparently they feel they don't make as much on the longer trips. Once there the cocktails were my favorite part of the menu. I had a basil martini and my spouse had a jalapeno martini. Fresh ingredients made these drinks extra special. Out waiter allowed us to take our time and relax. For an appetizer we had the muscles. They were good. My wife had the fresh lobster and I had red snapper encrusted with pistachios. Mine was the better of the two. For dessert I had a high end tequila and the manager made my wife a special dessert martini that was off menu. It was made with caramalized garlic and melted ice cream. I know. Sounds awful but It was actually quite good. The best part of La Kliff was the attentive staff and the views. It's a must try at least once if you are a PV regular.
