Very nice staff neighbors are friendly an although more than 90 percent of people that stay here are plant workers they keep it very clean an the laundry room is brand new washer and dryers would highly recommend an the night manager is awesome an alway there to helpNearby activities: Everything you need from cooking dinner to fast food is nearSafety: Everyone watches out for everybody View all feedback.

If staying in the area, avoid staying at this hotel at all cost. It states 100% smoke free environment on the website but it is complete opposite. We were not refunded even after corporate got involved. Our room had a hole punched in the bathroom door, there is carved graffiti in the elevator, a random plunger on the hallway floor, thick smell of smoke and dogs barking everywhere. Its was pleasant, however, I did not like House Keeping knocking on my room door at 10:45am the first day. I had opted for the late checkout at 12pm, and booked that when I checked in the night before. And then again, the following day, House Keeping knocked, but at 10:20am. Also, as im bathing a 6 month old baby in the bathtub, a water bubble that formed on the ceiling, from the room above leaking water I suppose, burst and spewed nasty water on the baby that I was bathing. Lord knows how dirty or what contaminants were in that filthy leaking water bubble.

There are many wonderful affordable places to stay in La Porte, sadly this is not one of them.
Nice place in the heart of Laporte very easy to walk to several businesses that are needed in everyday business.
ZERO STARS if I could. ALL MY BLUE COLLAR people DO NOT STAY HERE!!! General management Eddie was NO help. Did not want to refund the 4 days I paid to stay! While his staff promised that I would be refunded for my early checkout. There are plenty of other hotels that have given me no issues in this area and I sadly gave this hotel a chance. Cleanliness/smell wasn’t up to par, which I was willing to put up with but NOT after that money grabbing SCHEME!!!! When I called to ask about the chain of command, the general manager Eddie just hung up and said he was the only person in charge. What a shame to work 7/12s for our money and have to put up with sleezy people like this that take our money!!!!! No one was ever at the front desk when they were supposed to be (occurring to hours) what an awful place of “business”
Please do not stay at this hotel! Very bad customer service from the general manager Eddie M.Bed bugs, dirty linen and cleanliness was bad!
