Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - La Porte

Popeyes is my favorite place for chicken, and I'm really happy there's one nearby. I find myself eating there almost twice a week! I wish the nuggets were as flavorful and juicy as their chicken, but they're still pretty good. My go-to order is the #2 mild combo, which I love to pair with their apple pie. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is consistently clean, and they usually serve food quickly.

Once again, there was no chicken sandwich available. I tried calling, but they aren't accepting phone calls. It's too far for me to go back. This is the second time I've encountered this issue, and I'm just really frustrated.

Neither of us ordered their signature chicken; instead, we tried the chicken bites. While they were tasty, they were gone in just eight bites—hence the name. We also faced an upcharge for two orders of fries when we only wanted one. It seems they don’t allow substitutions. The staff at the counter struggled with ringing up our order correctly. This will be our last visit, and we have no plans to return.

Ethan is such a great employee. He was patient, respectful, and kind. The food he prepared was fresh and hot. Just because of him I will be repeating my business with Popeyes! Thanks for the great experience:

I like their sandwiches but am not the biggest fan of the family chicken meals. This was the first time I've ordered anything other than a family meal and I was impressed. It was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.
