Bistro On The Greens - La Porte

Great vibes and great food! We enjoyed a delicious dinner after a round of golf at Legacy Hills. The owner and Executive Chef, John, chatted with us for a brief time and was wonderfully cordial. His culinary take on the dishes offered is really unique and everything we had was simply excellent. I highly recommend the Jambalaya Pasta and Yardbird Chicken. We will definitely go back … I’ve got my eyes on the Bistro Fries and some Gumbo YaYa.

We were an extremely large group and the staff accommodated us good naturedly and efficiently. The chef came out to greet us and shared the history of the cuisine, the art work, and how the site was selected. We have a wonderful time. The food was soooo good!

Our large group dined apres-golf. Everyone enjoyed the ambiance, overlooking the 18th hole. The restaurant is upscale with large paintings of jazz greats on the walls. The extensive menu is Cajun/Creoleand delicious! Waitstaff is very pleasant and efficient. The chef personally welcomed us and checked back to ascertain our opinions and feedback. Individual checks were no problem. A good time was had by all.

Very good! We had grilled salmon, balsamic chicken, and fried alligator as an appetizer.Highly recommend !

Service was horrible, sat for over a half hour before getting even a water. Then over looked from getting to order our food. We were over charged for our food and our bill certainly didn't match the prices on the menu. Food wasn't bad, steak over cooked and just kept apologizing, heard them offer a couple customers complimentary desserts and we were charged for ours....totally disappointed ?
