L 'Escola is our favorite restaurant in the area. We are visiting this place for around the last 8 years, when they started the service. Without kids at the beg... read more L 'Escola is our favorite restaurant in the area. We are visiting this place for around the last 8 years, when they started the service. Without kids at the beginning and with them and other friends as always as we can. The ambient is very friendly and good place in winter or summer time. About the dishes, my prefered starter are the caramelized eggplants very slim and good cooked. For the main plate, exqueixada cod (unsalted and uncooked) with tomato, a very traditional catalan culture dish. And finally for the deserts, ratafia (catalan floral licour) turron icecream or more recently tea flavour mochi (japanese icecream ball). The staff is very dynamic too, helping to stay as at home and taking attention on all the serve.

I didn't find it particularly great, but we got there on the early side and were able to have a quick dinner (we had just arrived in Spain that morning and were really exhausted). It is quite close to Pubol, which was good, as we had stopped by there to visit the Castell Gala.
