We had the Chow mine and Szechwan courts, both were excellent. We'll go back. We were there early, about 11:00, no waiting time, immediately served. Try it out, delicious food!

We come back to this restaurant every time we're in La Peñita de Jaltemba. Food is healthy, prepared as you wait. Authentic Chinese food. Owner and chef, Victor greets together with his very nice wife, Claudia. The only other Chinese restaurant is really not what you want if you want healthy, freshly prepared food.

Large dinner with Chefs Victor and Claudia in La Peñita. Stir fry chicken, rice, egg rolls, vegetables, cow mine for 150 p per person. Freshly cooked before you. Great value. You are located 1 block north of the main Avenida of the Hwy. he's really busy now. Reserve to make sure you get a table. Enjoy!

They gave us a menu, but we were rejected everything we demanded. The cook told us our two choices and refused any request. I can't blame him for having only two woks. My friend, a vegetarian, and he said first no to stir meatless fry and she said, then she won't eat, so he said okay. I don't think anyone was overly impressed and 4 of the six said we'd like to try, but don't come back. The other two said there was a better Chinese food store. It was a strange experience to say the least lol. I won't return. Portions are also small.

I have been meaning to try this spot out since arriving, and day was the day. Always a fan of Schezuan flavours, I opted for that. Although tucked down beside the busy carretara, the owners have created an oasis, with clean full flavours, welcoming sidewalk seating, an awning to alleviate the sun. I appreciate well-prepared cuisines that leave the grease behind and bring the flavour forward. Also deliciious, a passion fruit agua fresca that was suggested to me. I have NO idea why anyone drinks Coca Cola in this country filled with absolutely divine fresh juices/waters. Can't wait to return for lunch another day!
