After 1.5 months in South America I really wanted something different than local cuisine, spring rolls here just made me physically feel lucky so glad I found this place. We paid 200 for 2 with appetizers, nets and drinks. Average price of main was 65 bolivien. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Vinapho Centro:
We ordered Pho, Iced Caffe and Curry. I mean the foods taste is not bad. But we found more than 10 bugs in our curry, the waitress and chef deined the fact and we had to get some other customers to help us to judge. I mean the fact is so clear and at last they charged us only the drinks, but still, it is very gross to think back about this experience View all feedback.
Delicious and fresh food. Authentic taste cannot be beaten. Great vegetarian options. I have the red curry with roasted tofu. Mojito was delicious and made with some sugar on the bottom. In any case, would recommend and come back!
It's the only Vietnamese in La Paz and when you bear that in mind, it's okay! We went there, wanting a change from the heavier meat based meals we'd had in Bolivia. I guess, living in London, we're spoilt by the hundreds of great Vietnamese restaurants in our city. Compared to those, this was average. But to find in La Paz a treat!
Pretty decent pho tai lan (sauteed beef). The noodles were a bit undercooked and the beef overcooked but overall not bad. The broth was quite fatty but needed a bit more herbs and flavour. Chili sauce and lime helped. Friendly staff and delicious sweets with the bill.
If you want to try good Asian food, the restaurant Vinapho is an excellent place to eat. Despite being a small place, its atmosphere is well organized. Their dishes are prepared with great care, I tried Kung Pao chicken and it really tasted good, not only for its sweet and sour sauce, but also its rice. Its service was efficient and speedy, but the price for the dishes were a little expensive in my opinion, however, I would recommend it!
For Australian standard, price is slightly cheaper than my city Sydney, but taste not as good as the thai food we had in Australia. The red thai curry pretty watery , no rich curry paste flavour. My husbands fried beef noodles pretty good, but again very expensive for local standard. Two of us had two spring roll each, ok), I had thai red curry a bit salty and watery),my husband had beef noodles pretty good but the price was too high for a noodle dish. We also had two mojito drinks, our bill is 201 bolivian money, for this price we can have very fancy western meal at restaurants around the plaza area popular restaurant, 1700, higher ground all pretty good and cheaper). If you want very good asian food, the restaurant 3 minutes walk call Zootopia are much cheaper and delicious. But I suppose not many vietnanese food in La Paz, so in this case the can charge high price for exotic food? Well, the point is I dont think it worth it
