One of the best options in the city from 2019. They offer good food and good drinks. Prices are something on the expensive side for food, most drinks have cheap prices. The decoration is beautiful, from the entrance to the bathroom you will find a consistent theme. Especially good for sports events as they have a huge screen, and many TVs overlooking most tables. Most weekends also have live music. They fight cold ou... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Garden La Paz:
This is more of a beer-only type of place. The food was expensive and pretty bad, all meats were dry and flavorless, plus they had no coffee (they said their machine broke), and no bread (they offered us day-old bread or chips), the music was too loud for lunch time. The bathrooms were terribly disgusting and there were plastic cups and cigarettes butts from the night before laying around everywhere. The waiter was e... View all feedback.
The purpose of my visit to this restaurant was to try their hamburgers, since they were participating in an event called Burger Week. The first impression I had with the name: Beer Garden, is that it is a place for adults where they serve different brands of beers, but at the same time there is a little playground for kids, which made me think that it might be a place where you can take your kids, and when you are drinking some alcohol, they can be playing, I don't know, that was the first crazy idea that came to my mind. The place is big, it has a good amount of tables, it is a mixture of an outdoor restaurant, since it is not 100% inside a building, despite of having gas heaters, you can feel the cold wind in winter night in La Paz. About the food I decided to order a burger that was called Monster Garden, it was only prepared for the Burger week, it wasn't a bad burger, but at the same time I don't think it was out of this world to compete with other restaurants that are competing in Burger Week, the bread wasn't solid, it destroyed when I tried to grab with my hands, so I had to use a fork and a knife. The meat was ok, it wasn't spectacular, i had better ones. They didn't have the beer that was in the menu, a little detail, but it was annoying. The french fries were the processed ones that are sold frozen in supermarkets, or at least that is how they tasted like. I will try to go again and order something from their normal menu.
Started really well, went down hill in less than a year

The waiter was exceptionally good, he tried to make up for every problem the restaurant had...it must be really hard for him... having to make excuses for pretty much everything.

Good beers, live music, big screen football, attention is kind. A little cold if you're not near a stove.
