As we slip into our evening food coma.....just want to thank Mauricio for a fabulous meal. The restaurant was recommended by some friends we have made in La Paz. Great value. We were able to bring our own bottle of wine, which was a lovely...compliment to the fresh pasta. Hubby all but licked his plate clean. I think that being number 2 on TripAdvisor meant something good. However we beg to disagree! The food was below average. No flavours at all plus the pasta was over cooked. The waiter mood was poor and his way to handle questions was terrible. No...toilet in the premises. If you want a drink they don’t have anything plus lemon tea. A man. a guy cooks the food and serves them. for about $7.50 usd they get tee, salad, brot and delicious homemade pasta. we'll come every time we're in town.
We were in la paz for a few weeks and look for something else than seafood. we have heard of tiramisu and decided to try it. wow! mauricio is the chief, waiter, server and instant connection to a friend. this guy is so real, it's amazing. it is like an immediate connection to something special. his story, his eating, his simplicity while cooking true Italian is amazing! that is a type that loves what he does and is passionate about his eating. and support him, they will not be disappointed.
This is a small place where the menu is small but the food was delicious! price was very reasonanble! take a tiramisu for desert..yum!!
Tiny facility with one table on the sidewalk plus a half dozen stools at a makeshift counter. Mauricio, the owner, is the friendliest person who makes all of his pasta by hand in addition to delicious sauces and mouthwatering desserts. Very rustic, nothing fancy here,...but delicious food at a bargain price served by an enthusiastic owner.
Excellent service, delicious ravioli and tiramisu and served with a beautiful green tea and salat. very reasonable price and delicious food! highly recommended!
