we had dinner twice in las palmas. beautiful location on the sea. eating is some of the best tasting Mexican food we had on our trip and their menu is deep. our only complaining is that eating could have been hotter. the restaurant was very busy, both nights we were there. but we would go back. this is one of the best restaurants in the city. now the food is dirty, the service is not welcome at all. we hoped it was just a bad night, but unfortunately it was the second time worse. View all feedback.

Has the look of more expensive restaurant with linen table clothes and uniform waiters, but they have glass over the linen and thin paper napkins. Good food and friendly waiters. Reasonable prices, and you can get lunch items for dinner. English descriptions under Spanish for...ease of ordering. View of pool area and Sea of Cortez and they had a big screen for Olympic viewing as well. Good choice if you don't want to travel in to town to eat. I had the tuna salad twice and my friend reordered the bacon cheeseburger. As with every Mexican restaurant it seems, you'll have to ask for the check to get it, and d they hang close by until you're ready.
My husband says he really enjoyed everything about Las Pamas that the food was really good so was the service. Maybe he was there without me or I'm having a senior moment.
We did not stay at La Concha but instead at the Los Arcos in town. Driving to the great beaches farther north we stopped for a meal at La Concha and liked the food, the pool the private beach. So we came back to...La Concha just for the beach, restaurant poolside bar most days. (The fine beaches north were beautiful, but did not have the amenities close by that we wanted; we would have to walk 5 minutes back to the parking area for drinks, food bathrooms. (as stated above, we did not stay in the rooms, so don`t know about their state. however this website would not let us post a review without marking the specific categories, eg cleanliness, rooms et al,
I really want to say nice things because I know that most of the workers take care of here. but I don't think they get the support they need and deserve, from whomever the place belongs. eating is from great to meh, and after a week...to eat (I was in the associated hotel) I never found out how to predict what would be nice and what would be moderate or worse. misc. advice: skip the add-on to include the breakfast in your hotel price, simply order the menu. are they kindly asserted what they want or do not want, for example, sometimes dead and a pitcher coffee are brought to breakfast by default. If you don't really want them, get back. there is a series of juices mixed to order, and they were always good. and I found that with the workers with buenos dias and buenas tardes went a long way to make a connection and get a better service. I finally stopped ordering food because it was inevitably lukewarm when I got it.
