La Catolica - La Paz

Good central location. the restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. the service was good. they have a pretty big menu. there is nothing here that will blow off their culinary doors. but it is quite expensive, fresh and ready to order. I ordered the El Rey combination. two eggs, carne asada (it is mexiko, so it wasn't the biggest meat cut,) fried beans, chilaquiles (not fantastic.) I am on the hunt for the best chilaquiles in la paz. still tuned. some avocado and twirl clothes. I'll eat here again, but keep looking for a better place.

It's nice that we found this place, that the locals eat. eat big and much cheaper than down on the picturesquecon.

This restaurant was AWESOME! The food was excellent very affordable. We ended up eating there twice during our week stay in LaPaz. They don't speak much English, but we were able to to use Google Translate to order. Also, you will need to pay...either with credit card or pesos. They don't accept US dollars. They do offer a very small air conditioned seating area if you don't want to sit outside.

Satisfy their taste buds with the authentic aromas served in the dressed in la catolica. the agua de jamaica and horchata were also very delicious. the prices were reasonable. that is a must for a hearty meal.

We were at breakfast. the eggs were cold, the fridules were cold, monte cristo sandwich was almost tasteless, the pommes were flabby and cold. decaf coffee was a cup hot water and glazed instant powder. piece de was resistanceess, who stood her nails before the painting. there are too many good places in la paz, we will probably not come back.
