Large small restaurant where you can find the unique mussels Almeja chocolate (they are endemic to the sea of Cortez). This is really good and it is also very healthy. Besides, the place is cheap and the staff friendly. A must when you are in La Paz, BCS View all feedback.
Chocolate clams!! What is available varies so it is good to ask! We paid the place a visit and ordered two dozen of the big chocolate clams... that was a big mistake. These babies were humiliated! Luckily they knew we weren't done, so we had a dozen together with the other rates. If available, ask for cerveza. It will be nice and cold and the seafood will complement well. The staff were attentive and there were many seats for large groups. Also the direction is not exactly, but it is quite accurate. Definitely no place to miss!!!

Bring your own beer to the restaurant. (They don't sell there, but they can buy it from you)
If you want to understand the local chocolate clam, this is the place to do it. When I pressed fresh lime on mine, the shells reacted as if they were happy to know they were appreciated in their last home. They don't sell Cerveza here, but there's a beer shop around the corner. A dozen are $100 or about $5.25.
Fantastic clamp. Very cheap. Fabulously friendly service. Great vibe. My favourite place in La Paz.
