What User doesn't like about Catrinas Cocina Mexicana:
of this restaurant many lavish, and finally decided to stop. most reviews are very accurate. my only grip or complaint is that they do not accept credit cards. if you spend something next to pesos, you will lose the exchange and. they know, otherwise, good food for the things we tried. We ordered a hot pot fish and shrimp enchiladas. The appearance of hot pot looks colorful, but fish sticks are over cooked without much taste. The fish hot pot has a few fish sticks but two pieces of hot dogs and cheese sticks. What kind...of mixes. The dip source for chips are very good.

We were visiting off of the cruise ship for the day and wanted some good local Mexican food and drinks. This restaurant was a great choice, the Margaritas were good, the second round was even better. Their guacamole was very fresh, the prices were very...reasonable and the server was very prompt and friendly, what more could you want? Would eat their again if we come back.
We have eaten at Catrinas twice. The first time we had the specialty of the house which was four meats, cheese, cactus, peppers cooked in a big black pot. I don't remember the name of it, but it was GREAT! The second time we went...there, we tried to order the same beef that was in the big black pot, but it wasn't the same, and wasn't as good.. For the money, the black pot meal was by far the best. It was 300 pesos but it easily fed two. The place is decorated with the skeletons that are so popular here. They don't open until 5:00.
Our cruise is stopped in la paz and we hiked here for lunch. Live music, tacos and great prize margaritas. it was an unforgettable part of our journey. back to la paz and will stop here again.
