Black and White is a great little restaurant. It is located across the street from Mercado El Sol. Paulina (owner) is a very attentive server and her husband (chef) takes great care is using fresh ingredients and herbs. We usually eat breakfast here. It’s worth a try!
This little restaurant has a lot going for it: it 's tidy. The service is good. The menu has a lot of variety. The food is nicely presented and very tasty. The prices are modest. The bathrooms are clean. They even play golden oldies from the fifties, which is a first. On our visit we had three variations of their shrimp dinner: the cilantro, the breaded, and the imperial. All three were excellent, and the waitress volunteered three small bowls of additional sauce to make the meal more lively. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., which makes it a good choice for breakfast, particularly when the breakfast menu features all the usual choices for under five dollars. The Black and White has just one drawback. Like so many Mexican restaurants, the owners unfortunately have chosen a rustico look over comfort, and the rough wooden chairs are impossible for seniors to sit in for any length of time. If you visit this worthy little restaurant (and you should), ask the waitress for the more comfortable plastic chairs she keeps in the back or bring your own cushions.
Excelente lugar para comer mariscos, trato personalizado, excelente sazón. Muy recomendable.
Todo es magnífico solo con una pequeña observación: luego no hay la variedad de postres que se mencionan en el menú.
