Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiles great food wine. So today when we visited the beautiful village of La morra we were so disappointed by the waiter in Mange. The motto on the sign was foo, wine happiness but I think it should read food, wine rudeness. In the end the balding waiter was so rude we walked out he said if we did not pay for the tap water we had already ordered he would call the police! Visit it only if you dare. A much better restaurant was le Vigne bio. 100% better.

The service is brisk, friendly and perfectly timed. The warm octopus salad, veal and chicken cacciatore were in particular AMAZING. And the panna cotta the best I;ve ever had anywhere, including my 7 trips to Italy!

Good food, reasonable prices, a pleasantly relaxed setting, and friendly service. Generous portions (the panini are very large and can feed two people). Especially enjoyed the tajarin with salsiccia ragù.
