Del Taco - La Mirada

They have a drive-thru which is very convenient! The person at the window was very pleasant! The tacos are pretty good too!

This is Del Taco. The food is hot and fresh, and the staff is polite—at least the young ladies were when I visited. They accidentally forgot to give me my quesadilla in the drive-thru, but the workers promptly came outside to catch me in the parking lot before I left. That was truly impressive service! Most places would have waited for me to notice the missing item before addressing it.

Del Taco is the perfect blend of American and Mexican cuisine. I absolutely love their fries and burritos; the combination is just perfect. Everything is incredibly delicious! You also have to try their chicken soft tacos, which are priced at just a dollar!

The quality really depends on who is making the tacos at the time. For example, if I had written this review right after ordering three tacos on Taco Tuesday, I would have praised it as an incredible value. But as I write this now, reflecting on my earlier experience just two hours ago, I find it hard to compare; while the tacos were very good, they didn't quite match the exceptional quality I had earlier. On the plus side, the restaurant has a really nice layout, including a spacious taco sauce dispenser. The lighting creates a cozy atmosphere at night, while during the day, the same layout can feel a bit cold. The restrooms, though located outside and requiring a token to access, are much cleaner than the ones inside. Overall, this is a well-maintained establishment, and I believe the staff plays a big role in that impression. My previous visits were less pleasurable due to cleanliness issues, so it's a refreshing change to experience a better culinary experience here now.

The drive thru is a little slower since the answer on kovid, but you eat is hot and my order is accurate.
