Food was good: I had the corned beef hash egg special. The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant appeared sanitary well kept. I also appreciated ordering paying at the counter because tipping isn’t expected at that juncture. I can leave it on the table upon departure, if I choose. What Nicholas English doesn't like about La Mesa Bistro Bakery:
Great place to eat, but they close too early, every time I swing by, it's 5-10 minutes after 2, and I leave disappointed. Change your times to close later and i would change my review to 5 stars. Good food. Unlimited coffee refills is an awesome perk. Update: the prices have gone up quite a bit and the quantity of food has gone down. The food is still tasty, but not sure that the cost is worth it.
*BEWARE PRICES ONLINE ARE INCORRECT* ...and don't try to get and get them to honor it. I've posted most recent menu they have. I ordered to go but from what I can see the restaurant feels clean
Come here every time I have my car serviced and every time very pleased by the options and how fresh ingredients of food taste and all and the people are super friendly I really love this place
Excellent breakfast ! Delicious salsa and homemade strawberry jam to die for.Quick service and value for money.
