Fourpenny House - La Mesa

The food was excellent (where else can you get mussels with venison chorizo?! , beer selection is fantastic and the service was friendly and attentive even though the place was packed on a Friday night. We didn’t delve into the whiskey selections...maybe next time. And there will definitely be a next time!

Crisp fish and chips, neeps tatties (heavy on the tatties, thank you), scotch eggs, a pint of cider, and heavenly shortbread in a very well done setting and with good service. Please consider having a Haggis night every now and then, pretty please.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food is exceptional, and the staff along with the beer is outstanding! I felt completely at home here, and I can't wait to come back many times. I just love it!

The food and drink menu is fantastic! I truly appreciate the attention to detail in all the design elements. This is a wonderful new addition to La Mesa Village!

We stopped in for lunch while in the area. Excellent food, excellent drinks and excellent people. We’ll definitely be back. We had a hard time deciding what to have off the menu so we’ll have to eventually try it all.
