St. Hubert offers reliable, tasty club sandwiches and poutine, but lacks the same quality for takeout. Despite being in a casino, the atmosphere is good, and the menu offers variety and value. The new addition to Casino de Charlevoix is modern and efficient, with primarily chicken dishes. Service may be slow at times, but enjoyable interactions with servers add to the experience. Overall, a solid dining choice in the area.
This is very popular quebec redisserie chain; the only restaurant in the casino. the experience is average, slower service, eating is ok. although the restaurant was very busy, I honestly think that they have been lucky because the restaurant was probably busy because there is no other...option for eating at the casino. most casinos have beautiful buffet options or many restaurants to choose; my acceptance would be because this opposite is very far from a lively city it is probably difficult to have many restaurants and they are all busy.
The new restaurant in the Casino de Charlevoix (across the driveway from Le Manoir Richelieu). Just opened in December, 2016 in the casino, this place was packed, especially considering it was the slow season, although some of the crowd was from the bus people visiting the...casino for the day. The restaurant is modern, efficient and well run. After about a 15 minute wait, we were seated and promptly helped by our waiter. The food, primarily chicken dishes, was quite satisfactory, as were the drinks. Prices were reasonable. This is a fine new addition to the area, especially for those visiting the casino or as an alternative for the guests of Le Manior Richelieu
On the way to la malbaie we stopped for the first time in the casino by charlevoix. we had chicken and the service was fast. the waitress had a very nice smile and was funny. after our meal we visited the chateau of charlesvoix.
The food quantity is very generous for the price. the quality is halfway between shredded and healthy. we went there more than one night because we wanted to eat at the casino; our experience with service was variable from below average to excellent. once. in the middle of dinner (at the Essens-Rush-Hour) came our waitress to tell us that she goes on her brake and that her colleague goes on. this is typical of this chain and unique in the industry.
St. hubert continues to be worth for her money. nothing nice but good service and tasty club sandwiches with a lot of huh. the poutine is not bad and coleslaw is delicious.
